Devotional cross - 18th century, made of white metal, handcrafted, finely chiselled and engraved.
Obverse shows a crucified Christ under the INRI cartouche.
At the foot of the Cross is a depiction of Saint Mary Magdalene, recognizable by her contemplative posture and the small cross she holds in her hands.
The reverse is entirely decorated with symbols of the Passion of Christ and engraved Christian emblems, among which the fish (Ichthys) and various instruments of the Passion. The piece overall shows a beautiful old patina as well as the normal signs of use for a piece of that era.
No hallmark visible.
Good condition with old wear, original bale.
