Floor lamp - Steel - Floor lamp 'Eyeball'

Fascinating and iconic floor lamp (torchère) dating from the late 1960s / early 1970s, a perfect example of Italian design in Space Age style. The lamp is strongly inspired by the famous productions of the Reggiani manufactory and by Goffredo Reggiani's projects. The structure features two slanted vertical shafts in chrome-plated metal that terminate with flexible gooseneck ends. These shafts support two rotatable spherical dome shades (eyeball model), entirely chrome on the outside and lacquered in glossy white on the inside to diffuse light optimally. The shades can be oriented in any direction, making the piece ideal both as accent lighting and for reading. The solid stability is guaranteed by a refined and heavy circular base in precious Carrara marble. It features its original foot switch along the power cord.
