An old oval silver devotional medallion, adorned with an openwork mount in Baroque style.
The obverse depicts the Immaculate Virgin standing on a crescent moon, while the reverse features the Crucifixion, with the Virgin Mary and Saint John at the foot of the Cross.
Western European workmanship, probably Spanish, dating from the late 17th or early 18th century.
Beautiful antique patina and good overall condition, with some wear and a loss at the bottom of the mount, small deformations in keeping with its age.
