Bread basket (2) - .833 silver - Set of silver baskets

Beautiful set of two matching Dutch silver baskets, consisting of a bread basket and a bonbon basket. Both are crafted in an elegant openwork design with a pearl edge. The large bread basket is marked with Dutch hallmarks, including the Lion II (second-grade silver, 833/835). The bonbon basket bears the Lion II and the master mark HS2. The bonbon basket measures 17 cm wide, 11 cm deep and 7 cm high and weighs 101 grams. The set is stylish and decorative and suitable for serving bread, bonbons, or other delicacies. In good, used condition with light signs of wear appropriate to its age.
