The antique silver lod(e)reindoosje is of the cartouche-shaped type with a straight back and a hinged lid. It has a profiled edge along the bottom and a ribbed pattern at the edge of the lid. It features chased relief decorations around the box with scenes from the married period, and on the lid, between C-scrolls, there is a marriage proposal.

Silver hallmarks:
lopend leeuwtje (2e gehalte zilver, 833/1000) - Minerva head M Schoonhoven - year letter d 1863 - master mark silversmith JK1 (J. Kooiman. Schoonhoven. 1860-1893).

Dimensions:
length 3.5 cm - width 3.5 cm - height 4 cm and a weight of 22 grams.

Condition:
in excellent condition with normal signs of use/age - see photos (part of the description and condition).

Het antieke zilveren lod(d)ereindoosje is van het cartouchevormige type met een rechte achterzijde en een scharnierend dekseltje. Heeft een profielrand langs de onderrand en een geribd patroon aan de rand van het dekseltje. Heeft gedreven reliefdecors rondom het doosje met tafereeltjes voor de huwelijksperiode en op het dekseltje tussen C-voluten een huwelijksaanzoek.

Zilver keurmerken:
lopend leeuwtje (2e gehalte zilver, 833/1000) - minervahoofd M Schoonhoven - jaarletter d 1863- meesterteken zilversmid JK1 (J. Kooiman. Schoonhoven. 1860-1893).

Maten: 
lang 3,5 cm - breed 3,5 cm - hoog 4 cm en een gewicht van 22 gram.

Conditie: 
in uitstekende staat met normale gebruikers/ouderdomssporen - zie foto's (zijn onderdeel van de omschrijving en conditie).
