Omnia, a French monthly revue, comprises eight issues from 1925 and 1926, all in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
8 issues of the monthly Omnia magazine from 1925 and 1926, in perfect condition.
Omnia was founded in 1906 by Louis Baudry de Saunier as a weekly publication from January 1906 to August 1, 1914.
Its publication ceased with the First World War and did not resume, in the form of a lavishly illustrated luxury monthly, until May 1920.
Omnia reached its golden age in the 1920s, notably offering the richest color and black-and-white illustrations, representing the 'nec plus ultra' of automotive magazines in France.
The covers of these eight issues are in themselves true masterpieces and bear the signature of Roger Soubie (1898-1984), one of the most important illustrators and poster designers of the 1920s for seven of them, and one is signed by Guy Chabrier, also a remarkable illustrator.
Three of the eight issues are from 1925 (March, September and October) and five are from 1926 (January, February, March, April and June).
In perfect condition, these rare magazines will delight discerning collectors.
