Gilles Peress - Le Silence - 1995

Silence by Gilles Peress is one of the most important and intensive photobooks by this photographer. In about 80 black-and-white photos, the genocide in Rwanda in 1994 is depicted. The book is part of the project - Hate thy brother - a documentation of genocides in the 20th century.
There is also a 24-page accompanying booklet with a chronology of the events by Alison Des Forges of Human Rights Watch.
Very good condition without markings. The accompanying booklet is in German.
