Colorful and lush set consisting of as many as 22 large napkins (also usable as small dish towels or table runners) original from the 1970s. The textiles bear the signature of the famous Italian brand "diemme", a historic manufacturing mark, very well known in that decade for producing mid-to-upper range table linen and today particularly sought after by collectors for its avant-garde graphic prints.
This lot represents a perfect example of Space Age / Pop Art textile design, characterized by vibrant color palettes, bold contrasts, and motifs typical of the period. The brand "diemme" stood out precisely for its willingness to experiment with colors and geometries of the "Flower Power" era, pairing them with yarns of excellent quality designed to endure over time.
The pieces are divided into several coordinated themes:
