A solid Italian iron stool from the 1960s–1970s, in good structural condition with minor age-related marks and superficial oxidation.
Description from the seller
I offer a unique piece of Italian industrial design, a sturdy solid-iron stool dating from the 60s/70s. This specimen stands out for its exceptional structural preservation: solid, stable and ready to be used or displayed.
The main feature is the original and rare Bordeaux/oxblood finish. As shown in the photos, this deep shade is perfectly preserved in the inner and underside parts of the frame, testifying to the original color. The surface of the seat, exposed for decades to daily use, shows a natural and profound "patina of time," with signs of wear and slight surface oxidation that do not compromise its integrity but tell its story.
This is not a restored or heavily compromised object, but a piece that is an "honest" and authentic piece, perfect for those seeking furniture with a strong industrial character and lived-in feel.
