Prehistoric Chopper / Chopper Tool
A robust and heavy prehistoric core tool, classified as a chopper (chopper tool) or large scraper.
This tool has an origin (North Africa) and is made from a characteristic, tough and fine-grained rock (quartzite/sandstone). On the left side, through targeted prehistoric blows, successive deep flake removals have been made, creating a powerful and functional cutting and chopping edge. The rear and grip are ergonomically contoured for the hand.
