Exceptional walnut wood bar cabinet with marquetry – ca. 1920–1940 – Provenance Belgian nobility

This rare and refined bar cabinet is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and style, executed in the spirit of the Louis XV period but produced around the early 20th century – presumably between 1920 and 1940. The piece comes from the private collection of the granddaughter of a Belgian baroness and bears witness to exceptional quality and refinement.

Characteristics:
• Style: Louis XV revival – elegant cabriole legs, refined floral motifs and richly detailed woodcarving.
• Material: Solid walnut with richly inlaid parquet motif (sunburst design) and marquetry in floral style.
• Interior: Nicely finished with light wood (likely maple or birch), featuring:
• a mirror wall with a diamond-shaped frame
• drawers and compartments with fine knobs
• specific compartments for bottles, glasses or documents
• sliding work surfaces with a sleek dark top
• Dimensions: ca. H 155 cm x W 98 cm x D 45 cm
