Aesthetic and Cabinet Style Cabinet: Massive wooden structure with a dark walnut veneer finish, typical of the golden era of hi-fi design. Front Grille: Characteristic removable panel with an elaborate wooden lattice carved (Japanese Kumiko style), designed to protect the components without blocking the sound. Dimensions: Floor-standing speakers of large size with a strong visual impact, about 45 cm wide and over 65 cm tall. Acoustic Configuration (4 Ways, 6 Drivers): The internal design aims to cover the entire frequency range by dividing the work among six drivers. Lows: A massive 40.6 cm (16 inch) woofer with a corrugated paper cone, engineered to move large air masses and offer deep, impactful bass. Mids: Two 12 cm cone drivers dedicated to mid frequencies (vocals and main instruments). Highs: A 5 cm horn tweeter to provide directionality and presence to the high frequencies. Super-Highs: Two 4.9 cm dome super-tweeters to extend the acoustic response to the limits of human hearing (23,000 Hz), adding spaciousness to the sound. Sonor Characteristics and Use
"West Coast" Sound: This series is renowned for a dynamic, lively, powerful timbre, ideal for classic rock, jazz, and pop music of the era. Very High Efficiency: With a sensitivity of 98 dB, they do not require enormous modern amplifiers. They play very loudly even with a few watts, making them perfect for vintage integrated amps or tube systems. Adjustment Panel: As visible on the front, they include an analog selector to attenuate or emphasize the treble frequencies based on the room acoustic.
