This collaboration was created to commemorate Keiichi Tanaami's first major retrospective exhibition, “Adventures in Memory,” which was held at the National Art Center Tokyo from August 7 to November 11, 2024.

This Barbie doll features a multi-layered pleated leather dress adorned with Tanaami's illustrations and chiffon sleeves that flutter gracefully in the wind. A relief figure decorates her chest, while a drawstring mesh bag contains a goldfish. Her yellow headdress is crowned with curious eyes and vinyl lashes. The eye at the center of the crown symbolizes art and fashion, possessing the power to see everything while keeping its secrets safe. This eye, emblem of art and fashion, makes it an irresistible collectible for Barbie enthusiasts and Tanaami fans.
