Daiichi Kogaku Zenobiaflex Type I twin-lens reflex camera for 120/220 film, serial 20078s, in very good physical condition and untested, dating from 1950–1960, with original leather case, clip-on hood and a yellow filter.
Description from the seller
This is a Zenobiaflex Type I twin-lens reflex camera manufactured by Daiichi Kogaku, one of Japan's early postwar optical manufacturers. The camera includes its original leather case, a clip-on hood, and a yellow filter, making it a highly coveted specimen for collectors of early Japanese SLRs. The viewing lens is a Heidoscop 75 mm f/3.5, together with a 75 mm f/3.5 Daiichi taking lens, in keeping with the design of the Zenobiaflex's first generation.
The camera shows signs of natural wear from the passage of time (cosmetic wear, deterioration of the synthetic leather, and marks on the metal surface), but retains its authentic vintage character. Since the camera has not been tested, it is offered as-is, ideal for restoration, display, or parts.
