Interesting specimen of dioptase from Congo, characterized by intensely green crystals developed on a light-colored matrix.
The sample features numerous crystals with vitreous luster, associated with drusy coatings and microcrystalline aggregates that cover a large part of the surface. Some crystals show well-defined shapes and good transparency, while others are in contact with one another or display natural imperfections and small chippings, typical of this type of mineralization.
The light matrix creates a pleasant contrast with the deep green of dioptase, enhancing the three-dimensionality of the specimen and giving it a remarkable aesthetic impact. A natural specimen rich in detail, ideal for both copper mineral collectors and as a display piece.
