Sarreguemines - Pastry/cake set (13) - Earthenware

Dessert or pastry service for 12 people in earthenware (faïence), produced by the Digoin Sarreguemines earthenware factory, whose pieces bear the back stamp. Circa 1930.

The pieces of this service are adorned with a classic stylized motif outlined on the rim, and the raised parts feature a gold-applied arabesque decor.

This service consists of:
- 1 serving platter measuring, in cm, 30.2 x 27.7
- 12 dessert/cake/pastry plates, each 18.8 cm in diameter.

The pieces of this service are in excellent condition, as evidenced by the photos.
Two plates bear original back marks with imperfections, and the serving platter has a back-edge nick. These defects are shown in the last photos.
