In good condition for its age, craftsmanship, handmade, joined together with a dovetail joint.

A dovetail joint in antique copper is a traditional, artisanal technique from the 18th and 19th centuries to solder copper plates seamlessly and tightly together.

See photos, side and bottom, nice patina, bottom slightly damaged but still usable.

Handles are riveted to the body.

Aangeboden een zeer fraaie antieke koperen graanmaat , afkomstig uit Frankrijk , 18 eeuw

In een naar leeftijd goede staat , vakmanschap , handgemaakt , door een zwaluwstaart verbinding aan elkaar geklopt .

Een zwaluwstaart verbinding bij antiek koper is een traditionele, ambachtelijke techniek uit de 18e en 19e eeuw om koperen platen naadloos en strek aan elkaar te smeden .

Zie foto’s, zijkant en onderzijde , mooie patina , onderkant iets beschadigd, maar nog steeds te gebruiken .

Handvaten zijn met klinknagels aan de bak bevestigd .

De foto’s geven een goed beeld van deze zeldzame graanmaat .
