An interesting cobaltocalcite specimen from Morocco, characterized by an intense pink-violet coloring, typical of this cobalt-rich variety of calcite. The surface is almost entirely covered by a brilliant microcrystalline druse, from which emerge numerous well-recognizable rhombohedral crystals, with good luster and a pleasant three-dimensional effect. Cobaltocalcite is a variety of calcite colored by the presence of cobalt and is particularly appreciated by collectors for its lively natural hue.

The specimen is presented natural, unpolished, with some small areas of light matrix and slight surface imperfections compatible with the mineral's origin. The overall appearance is very decorative thanks to the wide crystal coverage and the pleasant contrast between the more developed crystals and the finely sparkling background.
