Description from the seller
impressive Mosasaurus jaw, originating from the world-famous Kem Kem Formation in Morocco. This fossil dates from the Late Cretaceous and is about 66 to 100 million years old, from the time when the mosasaurus was the absolute apex predator dominating the oceans.
This jaw is an original fossil with a beautiful natural appearance. To preserve the fossil and present it complete, some original teeth have been professionally restored and reset. The jaw itself is authentic and shows the robust build and impressive tooth row for which these marine reptiles were known.
The combination of the well-preserved jaw structure, the characteristic carnivorous teeth, and the natural fossil details makes this a particularly collectible item that immediately draws attention.
An impressive fossil that reflects the power and beauty of one of the largest sea predators of prehistory. A unique piece of natural history with a fair and transparent restoration, making it both visually appealing and historically valuable.
