This piece represents a decorative wooden statuette in the Chokwe style.

It is an upright anthropomorphic figure, carved in dark wood.
Physiognomy: The head is relatively wide compared to the body, with stylized facial features, almond-shaped eyes and prominent ears. The hair is represented by linear incisions.
Posture: The figure is depicted in a frontal, rigid posture. The arms are folded against the torso, the hands meeting at the abdomen.
Details: The sculpture features distinct circular perforations on each side at the level of the armpits. The lower part shows bent legs and a clearly indicated male anatomy.
Base: The statuette rests on a raw wooden plinth, itself mounted on a larger modern black base serving as an exhibition stand.
