Description from the seller

8mm Paillard Bolex C8 SL analog cinema camera lot manufactured in Switzerland. The mechanical wind-up motor operates smoothly and the upper light meter system, "Compumatic," is mechanically functional (the needle reacts slightly to changes in light). The great value of the lot lies in its excellent original French SOM Berthiot Trix Focus 12.5mm f/1.9 lens and in its valuable original period documentation from the French market: official warranty booklet ("Bulletin de Garantie") with serial number 786040, handwritten and stamped on April 11, 1960 at the store "Photo-Ciné Studio-Ernest" in Mont-de-Marsan, alongside the original instruction manual ("Mode d'Emploi"). An era-appropriate rigid carrying case is included (not original to the brand), which shows a cracked strap and a zipper that is partially off-sewn. Ideal lot for restorers, collectors of historical documents, or filmmakers seeking the French optics.

Weight (in kg): 1.2 kg (total weight including the camera, paper documents, and the carrying case).

Size (in cm): The camera measures 13 cm high × 8 cm wide × 5 cm deep. The era carrying case measures 16 cm long × 16 cm high × 8 cm wide.

Material: Camera body made of duralumin with chrome finishes and textured leather lining. Glass and metal lens. Original 1960 printed documents on paper and cardboard. Exterior rigid leather case showing wear.

Color: Camera in black and silver (polished aluminum). Carrying case in dark brown.

Shipping method: Registered shipping with tracking number.
