An antique German doll, possibly from manufacturers such as Armand Marseille, Heinrich Handwerck, or Ernst Grossman.
The doll has a biscuit porcelain head and a movable body, often made of composite material.
Such dolls often date from the late 19th or early 20th century.
The stamp on the neck confirms that this is an antique German doll from the manufacturer Schoenau & Hoffmeister.
SPBH (in the star): This stands for Schoenau & Porzellanfabrik Burggrub Hoffmeister. This logo is often confused with that of Simon & Halbig, but the letters 'PB' in the star are characteristic of Schoenau & Hoffmeister.
1909: This is the model number (also called the 'mall') of the head, not the exact production year. This type of head was produced from the early 20th century.
Style: This type of white cotton underwear with embroidery (eyelet patterns) was worn in the early 20th century under the actual dress.
