Description from the seller
An iconic piece of photographic history from Czechoslovakia: the Meopta Mikroma. This extremely compact camera (only 75×43×40 mm) was produced after World War II and is known as a classic 'spy camera' due to its miniature size. The camera uses 16mm film. A beautiful collectible for lovers of mechanical precision and vintage subminiature photography!
Specifications:
Lens: Meopta Mirar 25mm f/3.5
Shutter speeds: 1/5 to 1/100s + B
Film format: 16mm film (image size approx. 11.5 x 14.7 mm)
Country of manufacture: Czechoslovakia
Condition of the object:
Cosmetic: In reasonable vintage condition with signs of use consistent with its age. See the photos for an accurate impression. The leather around the camera is in a moderate condition but still presentable for a camera of this age.
Mechanical: The shutter cocks and when the slider is moved back the shutter operates. It is not known whether this is the normal behavior of the mechanism to make the shutter work.
The diaphragm and focus rings rotate smoothly. (Note: Not tested with film).
