A very large figure of a hunter ancestor

This statuette has been studied by Professor Jesús Arrimadas, also a prominent collector of Spanish African art.
We can call it Tégé, which is a non-consecrated statuette of the Teké people.

It has the characteristic scarifications of this ethnicity, with vertical lines on the face, a large headdress, and weapons in each hand. Good patina from use.
