AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: Villeroy & Boch Mettlach, Germany. The tile was made around 1900. The decoration of floral motifs is relief-decorated by means of the dust-press technique, in which clay powder is compacted under high pressure into a mold. The tile is in good condition with a bright glaze. There are some light signs of use, namely small glaze damages on the left and right edges. The back of the tiles is marked with the factory name. I pack the tiles with great care, all packages with a tracking number.

Seller's Story

I have been trading antique tiles for almost 20 years. I sell medieval lead glazed floor tiles. Italian, Spanish and Portuguese tiles from the fourteenth to the eighteenth century. Dutch tiles from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, as well as tiles from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco period. I sell at special tile fairs in Germany and England, through Catawiki and eBay and through my website.
