The small red conical pot is 10 cm wide and has fine but faded decorations. The reddish rectangular plaque has 4 small holes in the corners, but its use is unknown. Dim.; 5 x 11 cm. The most interesting item is the round pot with its ritualistic decorations of snakes. This is a very important protective charm, placed alongside a deceased person. Dim.; 9 x 10,5 cm. Finally a small shamanistic object is included; a pottery item with two opposing openings used in special ceremonials concerning the afterlife. 9 cm long. All items were collected in Mali in the late 1990.s and come from a private Dutch collection.
