Description from the seller

BMW 320i Cabriolet (E30) – 1989 | Originally delivered in the Netherlands | Alpine White | Electric convertible roof

GENERAL:

For sale: a beautiful and exceptionally original BMW 320i Cabriolet (E30) from 1989.

This is an originally Dutch-delivered car, which has been on Dutch registration without interruption since first registration. This beloved classic is equipped with the smooth and characterful 2.0-liter inline-six petrol engine (129 hp), a motor known for its refined running culture and wonderful driving experience.

The car is in a very neat, original condition and comes from a true enthusiast. Recently the BMW has been professionally polished to a high gloss by a specialized car detailer, giving the original paint a beautiful deep shine.

The combination of the original Alpine White paint with the red leather interior makes this E30 a particularly stylish and rare sight. A spec sought after by collectors and enthusiasts.

The APK (Dutch periodic vehicle inspection) has been renewed recently and is valid through 18 March 2027.

INTERIOR:

The original red leather interior is in a very neat and well-maintained condition and suits the car’s classic character perfectly.

* Comfortable sport seats
* Original controls and trim

All amenities function as they should and the interior exudes the quality and look that BMW E30 is known for. Of course there are a few signs of use.

BODYWORK & PAINTWORK:

The exterior is in a lovely original condition.

The original Alpine White color forms a stunning contrast with the red leather interior. Thanks to the recent professional detailing, the paint presents a deep shine.

Further the car is equipped with:

* Original alloy sport wheels
* Original convertible version
* Sleek bodywork
* Tight gaps on doors, bonnet and boot lid
* Classic BMW look that is becoming increasingly rare

A stylish convertible that attracts admiration both standing and driving.

* All original keys
* Logical Dutch mileage report (RDW)
* Complete registration documentation

For buyers outside the Netherlands we can provide export papers at no cost, so export can be arranged quickly and easily.

CHASSIS:

The chassis is in a beautiful, original and well-kept state. Also the engine bay, trunk area and door jambs/contacts are exceptionally neat and original. These are details that are rarely found in this condition on many E30 Cabrios and clearly underline the care of the previous owner.

This BMW comes from a true enthusiast and has always been treated with care.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
