Contemporary Design Auction (Craftsmanship)

Ceramic gourd inspired by the vernacular shapes of traditional containers, this piece reinterprets the gourd as a contemporary sculptural object. Moulded in earthenware and hand-decorated, it incorporates motifs drawn from my research into the ceramic heritage of Martres-Tolosane, creating a dialogue between artisanal know-how and contemporary creation.
