1967 Firebird with a 455 ci V8, TH400 automatic transmission and 3.08 Eaton differential, finished in dark green, located in the Netherlands with Dutch registration, 1,800 km mileage, petrol, 350 hp, CoC not present and MOT valid, with a full body‑off restoration featuring an epoxy‑primed chassis, rack and pinion steering and Koni shocks, in very good overall condition.
Description from the seller
HIGHLIGHTS:
• Complete 'body-off' restoration performed, including sand-blasted chassis in epoxy coating
• Powerful 455 ci Big Block V8 engine (revised about 1,500 km ago)
• TH400 automatic transmission and Eaton limited-slip differential with 3.08 gearing
• Modern tuned rack and pinion steering and Koni shock absorbers
• Finished in Land Rover dark green with a high-quality clear lacquer finish
HISTORY/OVERVIEW:
This vehicle has undergone a thorough body-off restoration, with the car fully dismantled and virtually all mechanical and cosmetic components overhauled. The vehicle combines a classic look with technical upgrades that provide a more modern driving experience, such as a rack and pinion steering system and an upgraded suspension. After the restoration, the car has been handled with care, and the revised V8 engine has logged only around 1,500 km.
BODYWORK/PAINT:
During the restoration, the body was fully stripped to bare metal, sand-blasted, and coated with an epoxy primer to prevent rust. About 5 years ago, the car was painted in a stylish dark green Land Rover color with a multi-layer clear coat, which is in very good condition. The underside, wheel arches, and boot area are protected with a gray body coating. The door seals and window trims have been renewed.
INTERIOR:
The interior is in tidy and well-functioning condition. The front seats show some light cracks; however, the seller provides new, original GM upholstery to restore them. Both the battery and the fuel tank are neatly housed in the boot.
ENGINE AND TECHNOLOGY:
The car is powered by a 455 ci Big Block V8 engine that was fully rebuilt about 1,500 km ago, including a rebuilt crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, and camshaft. The powerful engine is mated to a TH400 automatic transmission and an Eaton limited-slip differential (3.08 gearing). The exhaust system has been welded and fitted with Turbo Mufflers for a deep V8 sound. The chassis and suspension are equipped with new Koni shock absorbers, as well as new body and undercarriage rubbers. The front features disc brakes with Pontiac Trans Am calipers; the rear uses drum brakes with good shoes. Thanks to the mounted rack and pinion steering, the vehicle has precise and modern steering feel.
The vehicle can be viewed and collected. Bids do not include transport or export, unless otherwise stated. Arranging transport, transfer of ownership, and any export documents/COC costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
