Clock - Alabaster, Bronze - 1850-1900 - S. Marti - Bronze Medal

French alabaster portico clock with richly gilded bronze (ormolu) ornaments, carried out in an elegant neoclassical style. The clock has a round enameled dial with Roman numerals and is signed H. Runne à Furnes. The case is made of white alabaster and features decorative gilded details with fruit garlands, foliate motifs and a crown.
The mechanical movement has two winding arbors for timekeeping and striking. Springs have been tested and are in good condition. The clock is missing some numerals, otherwise not tested. A stylish decorative object that is suitable for both collectors and enthusiasts of antique French pendules. Weight approximately.
