Baroque liturgical triptych in carved and gilded wood, late 18th – early 19th century - Central Europe (probably Bohemia, Prague)
Set of three devotional frames carved and gilded in the Baroque period, probably Central Europe (Prague). Each frame contains a religious print adorned with polychrome floral decorations and Latin liturgical texts: Convivium Sacrum, Initium Sancti Evangelii Secundum Joannem and prayers of the celebrant at Mass.
The frames feature a rich openwork Rocaille (rocaille) decoration, finely carved and leafed in gold. A decorative and liturgical ensemble of high quality, testament to the Catholic piety of the 18th century.
Dimensions: The large one 45 x 25 cm - The other two 27 x 24 cm
Beautiful condition with wear and small alterations consistent with age.
