An elegant Swedish side table from 1977, crafted in beautiful mahogany wood with a warm, satin-gloss finish. The round shape, the vibrant wood grain, and the gracefully turned central column with three curved legs give this table a timeless look where classic craftsmanship and Scandinavian simplicity harmoniously converge.

In the 1970s Swedish furniture design was known worldwide for combining high-quality materials, artisanal finishing, and functional design. In addition to the sleek Scandinavian form, furniture was also produced in which traditional turning techniques and classical shapes were applied in a contemporary manner. This side table is a fine example of that, and it provides a atmospheric complement to both modern and classic interiors.

There is a handwritten marking on the underside. Only the year 1977 is clearly legible; the rest of the text is unfortunately no longer decipherable. This makes the table convincingly datable to the 1970s.

The tabletop features a subtly rounded upstanding edge and reveals a beautiful mahogany veneer with a lively natural wood grain. Thanks to its compact size, the table is versatile for use as a side table, lamp table, wine table, or decorative accent table.

The table is in good vintage condition with light signs of use appropriate for its age.
