Nobuyoshi Araki - Shusengo - 1993

Shusengo (Postwar). In 1972, Araki left the Dentsu advertising agency, where he worked as an advertising photographer, to become freelance. He took many black-and-white photographs of Tokyo during this period. This book is part of that series of photographs, and contains photographs taken between August 16 and September 3, 1973. Bold layout, with the photographs presented as contact prints.
