Description from the seller

Natural fluorite with white mineral association – Balochistan, Pakistan

Important specimen of natural fluorite from Balochistan, Pakistan, characterized by large interconnected crystals of gray-violet color, with translucent zones that allow observation of the internal structure of the mineral.

The surfaces show distinct step-like growth and particular forms of natural dissolution. Among the crystals there is a white mineral material, partly compact and partly encrusting, that penetrates into some cavities and is visible also through the more transparent portions of the fluorite. Its composition has not been analyzed and is therefore left unidentified.

The cavities, irregularities, and seemingly corroded areas are part of the natural formation of the specimen and create an interesting contrast between the gray-translucent fluorite and the white mineralizations.

The back of the specimen presents a naturally granular structure that may release a small amount of material if handled. This is a natural characteristic of the mineralization and does not compromise the overall solidity of the sample.

Weight: 2.530 kg
Dimensions: 22 × 17 × 5 cm
Origin: Balochistan, Pakistan

Specimen photographed from multiple angles to accurately show transparencies, surfaces, and natural characteristics.
