Description from the seller
BRASIL. 2000 Reis. 1924.
- Value: 2000 Reis.
- Year: 1924.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: Allegorical bust of the Republic surrounded by stars, with no motto. Reverse: UNITED STATES OF BRAZIL · 2000 REIS · 1924.
- Grade: MS64 (NGC).
Silver coin of 2000 Reis with an allegorical bust of the Republic facing right, rendered in a classic style of soft lines and surrounded by a ring of stars symbolizing the states of the Brazilian federation. The reverse presents the face value within a crown of branches, surrounded by the national motto and the year of issue. This specimen retains an excellent original mint luster, sharp reliefs and clean fields, with minimal surface marks consistent with the grade MS64. Issued during the First Brazilian Republic era, it represents one of the most characteristic silver denominations of the country’s monetary system in the early decades of the 20th century.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
