Ferrania Galileo Analogue camera

The camera in the photo is a Ferrania Galileo, an Italian 35mm film compact produced in the 1950s. Built with a robust metal body and a leatherette covering, it represents one of the examples of postwar Italian photographic production. It is equipped with an Officine Galileo Aplon lens mounted on a Terog shutter, a combination that offered good performance for amateur photography of the era. All adjustments are manual: shutter speeds, aperture and focus are set directly by the user, allowing full control of exposure. Its compact size and solid construction made it ideal as a travel camera.
