Peter’s Pottery Woodland Centrepiece Bowl – Model 2202, c. 1970s–1980s
A handcrafted decorative centrepiece by Peter’s Pottery, impressed with the maker’s mark and model number 2202.
Inspired by woodland landscapes, the openwork rim is formed as intertwined tree branches adorned with sculpted pine cones and evergreen foliage. The centre features a spectacular reactive glaze, flowing naturally in warm shades of ivory, honey, amber and deep chocolate brown. Every firing produces a unique pattern, making each piece one of a kind.
Produced in the United States during the 1970s–1980s, this bowl is a beautiful example of American studio pottery and organic design.
