Drinking set (8) - Murano glass

Extraordinary set of unique Murano glass shot glasses, made in the 1980s. Each glass was hand-formed freehand by master glassmakers. The splendid ribbed texture, which envelops each piece in a dynamic spiral, is one of the most iconic techniques of Murano blown glass. The true peculiarity of this series lies in the geometric variety that composes it (5 with rounded edges, 2 triangular, and one square), as well as in the colors. Each shot has its own chromatic personality. The shades range from fresh turquoise to warm amber, up to a sophisticated amber with an orange-reddish gradient edge. The slight variations in height, in the thickness of the glass, and in the spiral design, together with the characteristic pontello mark on the bottom of each glass, are the "birth certificate" of a product made entirely by hand.
