Jewellery box - Satinwood

Jewelry box in pau-santo wood and Portuguese silver from the 19th century.
Portuguese, from the late 19th century, rectangular in shape, made of pau-santo wood, richly decorated with cut-out and embossed silver appliqués.
Lid hinged, ornamented in the center by an oval cartouche surrounded by floral and vegetal motifs, extended to the sides, featuring similar appliqués in the corners.
Front and side trims decorated with garlands of flowers, foliage, bows and hanging elements, in the Louis XVI taste.
Set on four small silver feet. Silver hardware.
