Faience de Biot - Pharmacy jar (12) - Porcelain - Practical & Characterful

Beautiful mediterranean collection of twelve individual jars, made of porcelain with a stopper from natural cork, produced by Faience de Biot and each decorated with a hand painted blue rim and a written mark ("Huile", "Sirop", "Vinaigre", "Chocolate", "Herbes de Provence", "Epices", "Olives", "Romarin", "Sauge", Thym", "Marjolaine" and "Moutarde"). The sizes of the individual jars vary; the largest pot is 14 by 12 cm. and the largest flask is 21 by 8 cm. One small pot has a tiny chip on the back of the rim (as pictured), but the overall condition is very good indeed.
