An elegant early Baccarat crystal decanter dating to around 1840, crafted from beautifully clear hand-blown crystal with refined architectural lines characteristic of the period.
The crystal remains exceptionally bright and transparent, displaying excellent clarity and brilliance. Both the decanter and its original stopper have been preserved together, and a copy of the corresponding Baccarat 1840 catalogue page is included with the piece.
The stopper accompanies the decanter but is currently not functional, as a fragment remains lodged inside the neck of the decanter. For this reason, the piece is offered primarily as an exceptional decorative and collectors’ object. The decanter displays beautifully and retains remarkable presence.
