Description from the seller
Exceptional fluorite with calcite specimen from Balochistan, Pakistan, characterized by well-developed cubic fluorite crystals, gray-smoked color with good transparency, associated with rich calcite crystallization.
The fluorite crystals show clean, well-defined cubic forms, with naturally satin surfaces and shades ranging from light gray to darker gray. On a large part of the specimen, a second generation of small calcite crystals develops, partially covering the fluorite, creating an elegant color contrast and a notable three-dimensionality.
The association between the fluorite cubes and the delicate calcite crystallization gives depth to the specimen and highlights both mineral species. The slight color variations, inclusions and surface irregularities are natural features of the mineral’s formation.
Large-sized specimen, with excellent display presence, ideal for collectors of fluorites and mineral associations from Pakistan.
Weight: 5,418 kg
Dimensions: 30 × 16 × 13 cm
Origin: Balochistan, Pakistan
Specimen photographed from several angles and with close-up details to accurately show crystallization, surfaces and natural features.
Colors may vary slightly depending on the device and screen settings used to view the images.
