AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Hematoid quartz – Morocco

Interesting specimen of hematite quartz originating from Morocco, composed of a group of natural crystals with reddish-brown tones due to the presence of iron oxides.

The main crystals show an intense red-brown coloration and at the terminal part there is an intense deposit of darker oxides that creates a natural contrast between the lighter areas and those more intensely pigmented.

One of the most distinctive features of the specimen is the marked contrast between the two faces: the front highlights the crystals and their nuances, while the back preserves a more "wild" appearance: the same crystals are strongly covered by natural ferruginous deposits that alter their look, bearing witness to the different growth and mineralization stages. This dual character makes the sample interesting to observe from every angle.

Weight: 700 g

Dimensions: 12 × 8 × 8.5 cm

Origin: Morocco

Photographed from several angles to show with precision the structure, surfaces and natural characteristics.

Colors may vary slightly depending on the device and display settings used to view the images.
