Commode - Walnut - Empire-style dresser

Elegant Italian Empire-style tall dresser, made between 1830 and 1860.
The piece features a three-drawer construction with sober and balanced lines, typical of neoclassical taste and the Italian Restoration.
The fronts are veneered in walnut with warm, well-defined grain, while the internal structure is made with commonly used woods of the period.
Particularly interesting are the original construction techniques, such as the drawers, assembled with handmade dovetails, the old iron locks, the back consisting of boards assembled with reinforcing crosspieces, and the classic 19th-century artisanal construction.
The surfaces retain a pleasant patina of age with normal signs of use compatible with almost two centuries of life, but it presents itself perfectly stable and usable.
