This is a hand-knotted Oriental rug, made from sustainable, natural materials. The method of knotting and the diversity of patterns make this rug unique and emphasize its authentic and artisanal character.
Yagcibedir carpets originate from the West Anatolian region, specifically woven by the nomadic Yörüks in and around Sindirgi. The pure wool Yagcibedir rugs are produced in the northwestern mountain villages of the Aegean region in the southwestern part of Turkey. They are very durable thanks to their fixed knot and the excellent quality wool from sheep living at high altitude.
The combination of high-quality wool, traditional craftsmanship, and sturdy knots ensures a rug that lasts a long time. Yagcibedir rugs are highly valued for their authenticity, durability and the rich cultural heritage they represent.
