Black Forest Wall Clock - Wood, Copper - 1950-1960

The clockmaker from whom I took this clock called it a "French clock" despite the movement being characteristic of the so-called Black Forest clocks.

The clock therefore has a Black Forest movement with a large dial. Around the dial there is a brass rim. In this rim there is a stain. The Roman numerals on the dial have become fainter. On the case there is a bell that is struck every half hour. This striking happens at a rapid pace.

The pendulum has a brass lens and is not long enough to point to the correct time. Copper weights hang from brass chains. These weights have spots.

The clock can be picked up in Almere. Shipment is done carefully packed and by registered mail.
