This advanced “portastudio” type device combines a multi-channel mixer and a four-track cassette recorder operating on chromium tapes with an increased tape transport speed to preserve the highest audio quality.

Unique feature for Tape Loop creators: This model has a unique and highly valued feature in the experimental music community – the cassette deck can operate with the open cassette pocket flap. This allows removing a window in the cassette shell so the tape can be fed out of the device. This enables extending tape loops to any distance and creating very long, evolving ambient or lo-fi loops.
