Antique Balotine - rotating coffee pot with decorative stand and spirit burner

A rare collectible piece: a "Balotine", a type of rotating coffee pot used in European cafes at the beginning of the 20th century. The rotating system allowed the coffee to be heated and mixed without placing it directly on the fire.

Details:
Material: White metal / alpaca alloy with natural patina consistent with age
Components: 2-part coffee pot body with locking system and pouring spout, decorative openwork stand, turned wooden handle, spirit burner included
Style: Belle Epoque / Art Nouveau. Floral cast ornaments on the stand
Function: The body rotates 360° on its axis via the wooden handle. The spirit burner is placed on the lower stand to keep the beverage warm
Condition: Very good. Shows patina, minor oxidation and wear normal for 100+ years. No chips, cracks or missing parts. All mechanisms work
Dimensions: Height: 25 cm | Depth: 12 cm | Base diameter: approx. 12-13 cm

Provenance: Original European object, likely French or German, circa 1900-1920. Highly sought after by collectors of barware, cafe and vintage kitchen items.
