Description from the seller
The central block, with its circular base in black and gold, displays the technical and elegant aesthetic that the 1970s era developed in its most experimental phase. From it rise chromed arms, vertical and perfectly parallel, as if they were antennas or columns of a space-age architecture. At the top, the six light modules cluster in a circle, each with its golden housing and textured translucent panels that diffuse the light with a warm, enveloping glow. That contrast between cold metal and warm gold is one of the most characteristic features of the European Space Age.
The geometric arrangement, almost orbital, makes the lamp a dynamic object even when off. When lit, the light fragments and multiplies through the panels, creating an atmospheric effect that recalls the modular lamps of the great designers of the era, but without a single, definitive attribution in its originality: ruggedness, ingenuity, and a futuristic aesthetic that is deeply domestic.
The patina of time on the base and metals does not detract from beauty; on the contrary, it adds authenticity to a piece that has survived decades without losing its iconic character. It is, in short, a marvel of 70s design, a lamp that sums up the space dream in an elegant, geometric, and utterly modern key.
Tracked shipping and careful packaging.
