Otodus megalodon tooth specimen from Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia, dating to the Quaternary Pleistocene (2.58–0.0117 million years ago), 100% natural with no restorations, in natural condition.
Description from the seller
An exquisite Otodus megalodon tooth measuring 11.0 cm, originating from the famous fossil deposits of Sukabumi, West Java (Indonesia). This specimen is 100% natural, with no restorations, adhesives, or reconstructive work.
The tooth is characterized by a beautifully formed crown with a sharp tip and well-preserved serrations along both cutting edges. The elegant ivory- to champagne-colored enamel is less common than the darker color variants and gives the tooth an exclusive appearance. The robust, naturally fossilized root forms a nice contrast with the lighter crown.
With its authentic condition, complete root and excellent preservation, this is a particularly attractive specimen of the largest predatory shark ever to inhabit the oceans.
